The authors address the specifics of research that is committed to the interpretative paradigm and that has been developed in the context of educational science: Do social science methods undergo a transformation when they are used to investigate educational science subjects or can educational science research ultimately be characterized not so much by its methodological profile but rather by the fact that it is conducted by educational scientists?
